Baby Pictures - My Birth Day

Well, the big day finally came. The answer to the earlier post is "No, I won't have time to write another story of the L&D room." Why, you may ask? Well, the answer is simple. As stated earlier, Sharon was given her epidural about 9am and she was given the Pitocen around 9:40am. She slept a much-needed sleep until about noon when our parents all arrived. At about 1:15, the Grand-Parents-to-be decided that they would go to lunch. I mean, after all, we're telling everyone and their mother to come visit because we've got till at least 5, 6, maybe even 8 that night till anything could happen. Well, it makes sense - the Cervadil didn't do anything, why should the Pitocin? Anyway, as they're leaving, the doc comes in. "Time to check the cervix..." He checked Sharon's status and turned to us. "Would you guys like to have a baby today?" he asks. We almost start laughing, and crying. We thought for sure she was still 1cm and he was being sarcastic. "Yeah," we replied, "Why?" "Well, you're ready to start pushing. You've hit 10cm."
Our jaws dropped. There was no freain way we were at 10cm in under 4 hours!?! I mean, we've tried all the trick to get her to dialate - walking, eating pineapple, walking and eating pineapple at the same time - and nothing worked....and to top it off, the Cervadil, a medication designed to get her to dialate, didn't work. But now we're supposed to believe that less than 4 hours of Pitocin has broken the curse?!? But, it was true. Labor was relatively quick and painless (thanks to the magic of an epidural). Sharon pushed, on and off, for about an hour and a half and by 3pm we had ourselves a little baby girl.
Well, not a little as we'd predicted. Lillian Juliet Feinman was born
on 3/7/07 at 3:10pm. She weighed 7lbs 11oz and measured a whopping 20.25 inches. I've included pictures of little Lily below. I hope you enjoy them. We've all waited long enough to meet her, and I think it was worth the wait.

Enjoy the Pictures!!

She finally opened her eyes for a picture:

Hi Sharon and Matthew,

I'm your cousin Trudy from "Lebanon" via Montgomeryville, PA. You have the most beautiful daughter, and I love her name, her nursery, and this little girl!

Great grandma "Bunny" is quite proud. Just in case you don't know who I am, my father and Bunny are first cousins. :)

Love,
Trudy
