So, the date is 3/7/07 and the time is about 10:10 am. We have officially been here for 15 hours. Sharon had a rough night, and the monitors and the Pulse\Ox clip and the blood pressure wrap didn't help any. Apparantly niether did the Cervadil because we found out that she didn't dialate at all last night (PS - Cervadil is supposed to help the Cervix dialate). The Dr broke her water this morning at 7:55am and she got her (much needed) epidural around 8:55am. She's sleeping now, trying to relax before active labor, which we're hoping happens sometime early this afternoon, but who the hell knows? So, I leave you now, with the suspense of the Labor and Delivery (for future reference - L&D) room hanging in the air. Will the baby arrive before I can post again? Or will she ignore the eviction notice for a few more hours and let me get another heart-gripping tale of the L&D stories in before birth? Stay tuned.......
